From Primary to PhD: An Analysis

Following the martyrdom of Hazrat Hussain (RA), 'Arab Imperialism' stifled the essence of Islam. Thereafter, a naked dance of one imperialism over another continued unabated.

We spineless Muslims, by continuously diminishing and belittling Islam, have reduced it to a mere religion of 'rituals and worship.' Whenever anyone speaks of intellectualism or discusses the pure Quran and Seerah (the Prophet's biography), the religious establishment becomes infuriated.

Kalma, Namaz, Zakat, Roza (fasting), and Hajj—all of these constitute the 'Primary School' of Islam.

 * The Example of the Sahaba: The Sahaba (Companions) began their journey from this 'Primary' (these fundamental pillars) and departed from this world only after completing their 'PhD' in Social and Economic Justice.

 * Our Current State: For the last 1400 years, we have been content with merely passing 'Primary.' To even think beyond 'Primary' is treated as if it were a sin.

 * Our Delusion: We have assumed that passing 'Primary' has secured us a palace in Paradise, and we remain content within our own narrow well. For us, the rest of the world is 'ignorant' (Jahil) and 'hell-bound' (Jahannumi).

Muslims have been living in this Delusional Condition for 1400 years. Anyone who dared to speak about progressing or studying beyond the 'Primary' level was promptly labeled an 'infidel' (Kafir) and 'hell-bound.'
